Hello -

Just walked in the door and was greeted with a washer full of clothes that I am told will not spin. She’s correct - it doesn’t. Machine clicks down, seems to try, then “kicks out.” I thought it was overloaded (laundry officer insists not). I tried to help it when it engaged to spin by it did no good. Need feedback. After 40+ years, if I can’t resolve in a reasonable amount of time, I may be persuaded to replace the ol’ 207. Need help.

Thanks to all,

Phil

Is the belt greasy? If so, it has a transmission leak and the belt is trying to go full speed.
