As some of you may know, most of my threads have suffered a huge loss of images due to the image hosting site I was using had lost them. So I am in the process of rebuilding each and every thread. A huge thank you to our webmaster Robert for his invaluable assistance.
We we'll be starting with Part Seven, since from here on all the images were lost. While Parts One through Six were also affected, many of the images remain intact.
Part Seven! Vintage appliance advertisements up to 1980. Refrigerators, freezers, Washing Machines, Clothes Dryers, Dishwashers, Television, Radio, Phonographs, Fans, Air Conditioners, Vacuums, Clocks, small kitchen appliances. If it's electric, it's here. Please feel free to post any pertaining ads. As per Automatic Washer guidelines, please do not repost any Picture Of the Day (POD) ads. In addition, please make sure any image you post does not contain any watermarks or copyrights from any individuals or websites.

We had a 15,000 BTU in our living room
It was pretty quiet and the fan threw a "soft blanket" of air. There was really hardly any draft but damn !!! That think could cool down the main floor in about 45 minutes from 84 to 75. Yes, we had the bedroom units going but GE made a good A/C. Those Fasionettes did a darn good job too. | ||

Great ads as always, Louie; thanks! Knowing their date of publication is a huge bonus.
That’s quite a beefy control dial on the Wizard washer. Let’s hear it for pig-snorting operating sounds and an indexing tub! Amazing how a 1955 KitchenAid K5 mixer looks nearly identical to the one I bought in the early 1980s—still my daily driver, by the way. The O’Keefe and Merritt gas range is certainly stylish, but I would argue that it’s definitely not cool to use in the summertime. And as someone who has lung issues, not clean, either. | ||
