Morning Guys,

I received a nice "Galamatic" brochure this morning and was curious to know if the machine had a discharge water arm on the spinner side like the original Supermatic ?
The machine looks like it could have one built in to the rear consul, but there is no mention of it in the brochure.
Regards
Keith

Advertisment

Keith

Here is an advertisment for it

It is quite a curious hydrid between the 1400 and the 1420, with some bits of both in it - as far as I am aware this model was never sold in the UK. The ad is dated 1965, I thought the 1420 would have been introduced by them or very shortly after.

Sent you an email to the address in your profile on here

looks to me you're right Keith

looking at the advert on the full screen, it looks to me that a chromed tube extends from and swivels with the black raised part in the centre of the bezel and over the suds return hole. I guess it's chromed as it is reflecting the artwork behind the machine giving the illusion it's not there, but the slight difference in focus gives it away.

Love it!

only betta with a long A pronunciation.
There was a shauk attack yesterday. I could have sworn the older guy on the news this morning was an Aussie. It was very early. I had only just awoke.
It was on Cape Cod near Bauston.
Anyone ever go to bear week in Provincetown Mass.?

yes, went to Bear Week 2015,16,17. Took a break this year. Much fun! Peakest of the peak season. Going with a big posse is probably optimal, though with an open smile you'll meet people. If you want a taste, Spooky Bear (Halloween) is smaller-scale.

Matthew,

It does look like there could be an arm which is lifted from the right-hand side near the spinner bit like the set up on the original HP 1400.

Are there any Oz guys on here who have one in their collection or have seen/ used one ?

Regards
Keith
