This is a "KOBLENZ" apt. size washer imported about a year ago from Mexico. It's a super little washer and handles a decent size load (about 8lbs), but has no spin cycle. Crazy, huh? Not a problem for me as I have a couple Twin-Tub machines and just run the clothes through a spinner, but if you don't....you'd better get wringing! Good for very dirty and sturdy items (not delicates) as it's wash action is pretty brutal. It cyclones clothes in one direction for 30 secs, then reverses to other direction for 30 secs and so on (up to 20 min timer). One speed-FAST!

That seems like a fun machine...I've been wanting one in the worst way and have been looking at them on eBay for some time now, however, most of them end at higher prices than I'm willing to pay for one of these. I'm still waiting out for a bargain.

Is it as vigorous as the Hoover pulsating machines (TT)?

It's a fun litle machine, but you have to have a clothes spinner, and it needs to set in the bathtub for draining purposes. It drains super fast, but is gravity fed. I paid 149.00 for it new. For that price, I can't complain, but I would've paid an extra 100.00 for it had they put an extractor/spinner with it. I have to use the Danby Twin-Tub or my old Hoover Twin-Tub to extract the water for drying.

Yes, Ralf, it's pretty vigorous! I wouldn't stick my hand in there when it's washing!

Has anyone had any experience....

....with these mini spin dryers? If they're what they're cracked up to be, I think you'd have a pretty nifty little auxiliary laundry setup for cheap.

I'm interested in the larger model (once they're in stock again). Has anyone ordered one of these?

Oh yes, a few members had the larger version. They didn't dare to be in the same room with it when it was on... LOL At least one of those machines didn't last very long.
