That's the real deal-a truly vintage Hamilton! The seller is right-that's a postwar (probably '49 or '50) model.

I wrote and asked the seller where they are - in case they were near DC I'd start the bidding - but they're located in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan 48230

Sure is a great looking dryer. I think it'd go great with my Maytag AMP, although, I really wouldn't use an un-vented dryer very much - maybe only once or twice during the winter.

Interesting... a vintage late forties dryer with vintage 1930's Art Deco styling. I wonder if this thing had been designed before the War and never realized until afterwards.
