Sorry for not doing this thread earlier, but i have had ALOT to do so i havent had time. My internet connection has also been unstable due to ALOT of thunder and lightning.

Anyway, last week we collected some more machines to recycle and i took a video clip of the machines we got. link after the text.

I,m curious if anyone wants me to record when i recycle the Kenny machine and the old zanussi. If you want me too, i can do it. On another thing, i did a little "blunder". I had think i would record when i recycled the Miele dryer. But sadly i my dumb as i am sometimes, i forgot my camera that day.

But, but, hopefully there will be more chances if anyone wants a video of that. These dryers are seen at the dumpster sometimes (not that they are bad, but the model in question are made in 1970-1980 so they are kinda old)

hi

Freddi,
i think the old Zanussi is a very interesting machine. The kenny machine is an Austrian made Eudora right?
The Bosch and Siemens are exactly the same. You got two German made machines and two Spanish made. The ones that open with a button on fascia and the smaller drums are spanish right?

Yep, the Kenny is made in Austria. The model in the video is not very old. Maybe 8 year is my guess.

You are right about the Bosch and The Siemens. Two of them are made in germany and the other two in Spain. I think the ones in Spain are much cheaper than the ones from Germany.

Of course this is due to often major bearing failures on the spain ones.

Thanks Frederiksam

I love the old Zanussi

The Kenny was sold also as Zanussi in the UK I think

Thanks very much once again for your time

Nick

The old Zanussi is very similar to the first automatic washer my grandmother had. It's a 60's machine. Would love to see a close up of the control panel.

The Kenny is cute too, indeed an Eudora. Is this still a model with the timer that is powered by the motor?

I noticed that the Husqvarna dishwasher has two controls. What are they for?

Thanks for sharing,

Louis

About the kenny/Eudora: No the timer has a separate motor in this machine. I belive the last one with a motor driven timer was made in 1986 or 87. This has made the machine more "sensetive" with more timer problems since it has to be to small.

Husquarna dishwasher: This has two controls. One is for the program indicator and the other is instead for buttons. Like for "daily wash, daily wash no heating". etc

Thanks. I now remember there used to be Bosch dishwashers with two dials too. But they had the dials on both sides, not next to eachother.

Could you make a picture of the Zanussi control panel?
