If you wanted a QUALITY machine in the 80s/early90s you had one of these(Miele wasnt very widely availiable AFAIK). The name changed in 1990ish to Asko/Asea and then to Asko. They kinda disappeared in the late 90s until being brought by MERLONI!!! bout 4-5 years ago. There were plans to take Servis upmarket using Asko machines but it didnt happen :(. HOWEVER. Stratus, on my other thread (Advertising) on the Imperial side there is a pic also of the more basic AWB 927 if you're interested. In regards to Asko, I don't have a pic of the Servis machine but this from their brochure. I bought one for my mother in 1994 (well me really). It was great but the top did rattle a bit. Unfortunately, it lasted a week then blew up. We changed it for a Bauknecht, which was actually very good and my mother preferred the old fashioned dials.
