What is the problem with the pump. Mike

pump

The problem is a screw was caught in the pump and cracked the impeller.

Parts

I have a Mobile Maid that the motor siezed up in it. I went to my local appliance repair shop and asked if I could get a motor for it. Much to my surprise, the gentleman behind the counter informed me that GE really hadn't changed the motor/pump design since they started making dishwashers...This one fits'em all.

And it did. I have a Mobile Maid that runs like a top and he has my $128!

Alas, at the moment, it's being sold due to not enough room at the house!

Lovely machine!

Being the anal-retentive Virgo that I am, I sort of prefer the dial to go from heavy to light cycles/programmes....

Pots pans
Daily loads
China Crystal
Rinse hold

There must be order in the world. *LOL*

The new GE's are in order and it makes me SMILE!

I always wondered. Does the China Crystal cycle use a less powerful spray are just a shortened cycle or both.

P.S. I agree with you Steve. The order of these cycle buttons makes my head hurt!

huh, wow. they really havn't changed their water handling system AT ALL! LOL. why on that stainless steel wash arm are there no holes on one side of it? all there is is an angled drive jet. that's stupid.

Maybe both! and / or even lower water temperatures.
I see there are two starting postions on the dial.

One marked by a circle, the other marked by a "hollow" circle. I am guessing similar dots are under the cycle buttons.
