Lee, are you talking about the machines? If so, here goes:

Clockwise from bottom right: shiny machine with wringer and impeller washing, Monitor; Bendix; Westinghouse; Whirlpool; Easy spin dryer. Nifty box of Oxydol soap sitting on top of the Westinghouse dryer, I think. There is no window in the door, which would be like a dryer of that period. Those must be dry clothes in the fabric sack on the folding stand; otherwise the lady playing with the Bendix would have a big old wet butt to say nothing of what the water might do to the fabric of her dress. She would play hell drying to get those colors out of her nylon slip if the colors bled through.

Yes, Jimmy, that is Phyllis Koch all right! The other lady is none other than Agnes Gooch. I always wanted to have a job testing washers. Why doesnt that Westinghouse Laundromat have a window in he door?

Coming Into Your Own

Tom,
There was a time I branded you a curmudgeon and pulled my profile in a snit of of over washed sensitivity. I am glad I swallowed my bloated self and came back to see the your posts in the past few days. You have really hit your stride in humor, insight, double entendre, historical recal, literary largess, lexicon and being very, very funny.
Thank you brigtening my day and making me snort hot coffee. Who new you also new provincial treatments for Seattle sinus!
Kelly

Hey golittlesport, At first I had mistaken Agnes Gooch for Dawn Davenport, but what thru me off was that Phillis Koch had a brother in law known as Phil Coe, hence the confusion. Dig? Jimmy ( a little levity after a couple of weeks of high drama does a person good! )

Tom You are right about the dryer

That is I think a D7 Model look close, it has to be a dryer as there is no door boot.

I love that the woman with her hands in the Monitor is wearing her pearls. Also, the woman in yellow looks like she just discovered a horse's head in her machine.
