Seeming as the other Logixx 8 thread got hijacked by another subject, I thought I would start a new one especially seeming as Bosch has updated it's UK product range.

The Gorenje-sourced dryers have all been discontinued bar the Classixx model, so now the Exxcel and Logixx vented Bosch dryers are made in Germany yet again and follow the same design as the new condensers, though unfortunately the vented models don't have glass doors which is a shame :-(.

Hopefully this means that the UK versions of the Logixx 8 aren't far round the corner, and if that's so then I can't wait to see them. Don't usually get excited about new products like this, but I really realyl like these new Bosch machines!

Take care all,

Jon

Still considering one of these at launch then Jon?

Depends if I decide if the AEG is worth fixing or not :-). Though if I don't get rid of the washer, I might have one of their glass door dryers :-).

Great look

This machine definately needs a look, it looks great and I love the drum. Unfortunately, I wasn't very pleased with my Bosch Classixx. Well OK, it was alright but didn't set the world alight. But I wouldn't rule Bosch out.

BTW Jon did you get my email to your account? I've sent you some pics but it might have been treated as spam. My email is on my profile. It's some AEG pics.

Rob - thanks for the email! Just got them, they had landed in my Junk folder. Isn't it annoying when junk email filters still let adverts asking if I want viagra yet doesn't let genuine emails through. Thanks for the ad anyway, was very interesting!

In terms of Bosch, we had problems with the Bosch Exxcel but in all honesty half of that was down to it being bashed about by the builders, though it was very stingy with water too. The new Bosch Logixx 8 models, or even the current Classixx and Exxcel models, are definitely an improvement over the Maxx range in terms of features (especially with Aqua Plus), and is just what the doctor called for!

Take care,

Jon
