Well.. Okay. Today my girlfriend was washing a load of shirts in our Siemens washing machine. It stands in bathroom 1. I had just come home and was making dinner.

Then i hear a strange sound coming from the bathroom. My girlfriend goes there to see whats going on. She returns shortly with a shrug. Seemed to be nothing wrong.

We begin to eat but i,m kinda both listening to her AND the washer. It doesnt sounds right. So, there i go to invistigate.

The drum was moving like it was epilectic and it smelled burnt in the whole bathroom. The smell had just going seeping out in the hall. So i quickly turn the button to program "pump". Waiting...Waiting for action. Come on!!!. Nothing, Except from some smoke coming from the back.

UH-OH!!!!

To short a little i then took out the clothes, turned off the washer and cursed Siemens for making such a crappy machine. Its just 4 years old. Guees its not any idea call for service.

I have added a video clip of the machine spinning. This was when it still worked.
Notice: The machine sounds alot in the video due to a scrangy pidestal.

Man, I think you have a little bit on a balancing issue there. It sounds as though the machine is a little bit out of level. Or maybe it is sitting on a tile floor. That's one jet engine you have there!
But I really enjoyed the video.

Your Siemens washer sounds exactly like my old Bosch Maxx! Even speeds up in the same steps lol, Sorry to hear about yours going wrong!

That machine was so "scrangy" when I played the video it woke up Aloysius way across the room and he stared at me and the computer!

Time to buy a V-ZUg!!

Thanks for the video Fredriksam.

Like Samsunglf said it also sounds just like my Bosch Classixx.

I have to say I wasn't that taken with my Classixx, it shakes far more than the Hotpoint/Merloni WD640 and is much noisier. You would have thought Bosch would be far superior but I don't know if that's the case. Even though the Bosch is better made, it's far more annoying when it's on.

My Bosch never vibrated at all... however the suspension inside really did knock about. Plus with the turbiney noise, the machine was quite quiet in the same room but as you moved further away from it you could hear it more as the noise was high pitched!
