Hahahahaaaaaa!! I should be so talented! Eugene, I had to read that post several times, it just didn't want to register in my mind. Jon, DDs will play music but not as part of changing the end-of-cycle signal. The signal can be turned on or off, but otherwise you're stuck with the reversing truck far as I know ... which isn't necessarily all that far. Been a while since I did the DD music trick, don't recall the button sequence exactly. Will try it and report back. |

This works only on the prefinished models that have an LCD panel. Demo Mode -- Turn Power ON. Press and hold the Eco cycle selection button. Then press and hold Power at the same time for several seconds. You'll be rewarded by the LCD flashing through the various symbols and indications. Press and hold Start/Pause for a few seconds. Music plays. When the tune stops, press/hold Start/Pause again for another tune. Repeat as desired. (Optional: Press power to turn the DD off. Turn it back on. Press Start to run a short "demo" which I assume is intended for store display purposes. The unit fills partially, then runs for 5 minutes and shuts off. It does not drain at the end. If Start is not pressed, the flashing display will resume in a couple minutes.) To exit demo mode: Disconnect the power cord for at least 10 seconds, then reconnect it. (Run a Rinse cycle to drain the water if the demo cycle was used.) |
