That looks like it's from the late-80's, part of the first-generation Norgetag/Tragic Chef design. No "klunking" spin brake here!

It is sort of amazing, however, that one of these has lasted this long...

Is that one of the first ones with the painted metal tub??? They were notorious for rusting and leaving nasty marks on clothing.

Of course, by the time that the rust appeared, these machines were ready for the crusher anyways.

Bring back the clanking, clunking, NOISY Fedders/Norge and I will buy it. :-)
