I have a Hotpoint Dishwasher in my vacation home, it seems to run great, all the right sounds and all the right temperature for heated wash. Problem is, the top spray thing, which really looks like a small elliptical disc turned amoeba is supposed to spin and rinse the stuff off the top of the glasses and stuff and does not spin and has a pathetic dripple of water to it while the bottom arm and "erected" middle are going great. I did a test run with the door open. What dertermines the pressure to this strange little appendage in the attic of the dishwasher? Any thoughts on how to get the bottoms of my glasses washed in the upper rack to not hold cruddy water and food particles? Thanks, Phil

Re: Small Spray Arm Disk for Top Rack:

Hi! Phil, if it is possible to take the Sprayer Disk off and then run the Dishwasher, through a Rinse, it might just have gotten something that accidentally passed though the Pump and got lodged in the Hosing going to the Sprayer Disk. Put the Sprayer Disk back together and then monitor it again, to see if that helps. It might even be possible that if there is something lodged in the Hosing, maybe it might even just fall out, when you remove the Sprayer Disk.

Good Luck, it will be interesting to know if this does help.

Peace and Regards, Steve
