I need a motor for a Maytag 101P Washer, about 1955 vintage. The existing motor stalls on occasion, and it's a toss-up between tripping a circuit breaker and making smoke (it has done both). Motor is Maytag A-9085, 1/3 hp, originally manufactured by Delco Div. of GM, Dayton, Ohio. Prefer NOS or rebuilt, but would consider a good used one. If all else fails, does anyone have suggestions for a rebuilder that does FHP motors? Thanks to all for the help.
