The Bendix seems to run VERY loudly when it's washing, I don't know about spin yet cuz I can't get it to shift into spin. Is there any special place that I should grease? It's not the main drive pulley, the loudness/squealingish noise is rotating much faster... Could it be the pump impeller? I've got the pump taken apart, but I don't know how to get the impeller itself out.... Any clues?

Is the pump impeller rubbing on the pump housing?

No, I can turn the impeller by hand without any troubles or squeaking even, but when it goes it's full speed it starts to squeal, it's not a scraping sound though.

What exactly is squealing?

Hi Jamie, is the pump squealing or something else?

It's hard to tell what exactly is squealing... It's definetly a faster rotation, either the pump or the motor. From what I can tell, the motor has one speed and one direction, and a solenoid engages somethin in the transmission to make it the drive pulley spin at the same speed or a little slower than the motor. I haven't gotten it to spin yet, Austin suspects a neutral wire somewhere(?). But it's gotta be one of the shafts coming out of the motor I guess. Does this help?
