Isn't this a lovely and unique set? Who made this for Sears?

Hi, this is an older pre- 1986 belt drive washer made by Whirlpool for Sears. These are great machines!

Can never seem to get dating of appliances right! *LOL*
Perhaps our Webmaster will move to the "Imperial" section.

Thank you for the information, these are great looking machines. Shame so many people are trashing these oldies but goodies for "new", not knowing they will never possibly equal the quality of the older units.

Other than water extraction, there are probably very few non-He TL washing machines and matching dryers you can buy these days that could outperform this set.

These look very early eighties..maybe 81 or 2...had a friend who had a set like this after they got rid of a 63 LK 800 pair.

awesome set. it seems to be in good condition.
I have to admit I had this set in 1986 brand new in Black.
I think the platinum color is better though. The pictures don't represent the platinum color (light dove gray) well. In some of their pictures it looks Almond.
This was the premiere set before Kenmore (Whirlpool) changed from Belt drive 29" machines to the direct drive 27" machines in 1986.
I wish I still had my set. How many have said that about a machine they once had.

The ULTIMATE Kenmore!

The best of the best!

But if I had to choose, I'd go with the 800.
