Is Speed Queen now owned by Maytag? I ask because I have the replica of the 1953 Speed Queen wringer model that Speed Queen put out as an anniversary promotional in the late 1980's, but the pump has gone out. I wanted to ask what company bought up Speed Queen's name so I know where to look for the appropriate replacement pump. Thanks -- George

Speed Queen is still owned by Alliance Laundry Systems. It's Amana that was bought up by Maytag.

Speed Queen info

Thank you so much! I'd lost track of which larger fish has swallowed up the next smallest fish as far as purchases and sales of major corporations.
