What an article it fills in alot of gaps!!! And no mention of Kendall Clark very interesting! I need to go to all those places now and visit the "sacred turf" where it all happend! We could never get a handle on the number of machines sold before the War ,335,000 is alot of product! I know one was sold to one of the wives of the Manhattan Project and shipped to Los Alamos - she refused to leave Chicago and go there unless the Navy bought her an Automatic washing machine!! I bet that archive has alot more info in it. Thank you for sharing history!! jet |
