Have any of you ever heard of these? I sure haven't. Anyone know who makes them. I suppose if we could see shots of the inside we'd probably know!

And from Sunbeam's home page:

From refrigerators and microwaves to washers, dryers and ranges, consumers know they can depend on Sunbeam®.

Down below:

Recall Information for Select Gas Ranges

I thought Sunbeam was effectivly dead after that chainsaw CEO came through a few years back and basically gutted the firm?

Only thing I'd want of theirs is either an old Mixmaster, or one of them fully automagic toasters from the early 50's.

Frigibeam

I'd venture a guess they're going to rebadge Electrolux appliances.

Front Controls

Within a child's reach and in the heat zone above the oven so even if you do not do any broiling, the heat will discolor/partially melt/cause breakage to the knobs. Broiling will do all three faster unless they have a vision-blocking pullout shield between the knobs and the oven. I wonder if this crap is made in China or some other part of the world that hates us but loves our money. Some company must have purchased rights to use the name, like Thor, Philco and other once proud brand names of American appliances. Sunbeam Corporation did not manufacture or market major appliances.
