Countertop Dishwasher

In the 1970’s I bought a counter top dishwasher very similar to the one you show for my apartment in Boston.

It was a true miniature of a full size machine and if you had good hot water worked very well and totally automatically.

You had to use it every meal, sometimes twice, once for pots and once for dishes but it was a boon in a tiny inadequate kitchen.

I do not remember the brand name; it was not one of the major US manufactures, perhaps it came from Brazil !

hehe!!! thanks for the replays! yeah, it really looks like a mini full machine, but it is filled with cold wather (here in Brazil isn't usual the houses with heating system, so mine haven't!) but this machine heats the wather by itself very well, it heats to 65ºC, wath is more hot than a lot of american dishwashers in the normal cicle!

thanks retroguy, in my opinion I think that i load a dishwasher very well too, hehe!!!! almost everything everytime outs clean, just one or two glasses came out a little dirty, but is normal, for a machine with just one wash arm!!!!!

Vinny....

I don't know if you noticed, but the lid of my dishwasher is transparent too, so you can see all the washing process! it´s amazing see the wather splasihing in the dishes!!!

Vinny, you get designated a very special BobLoad certification. You really do know how to load wel. A man after my own heart.

The countertop dishwasher sure reminds me of 1950s Kitchenaids.

Well, only some of us have been blessed with the intense knack of being able to properly load a dishwasher. Bob
