I have the oppurtunity to buy this dryer? Is in anything i should save? Good model? Rare?

Could anyone tell me its approximate age? Thanks

I had this same model only a few model years before this pictured one. Excellent dryer. I had to replace the basket bearings which was quite easy, and then a few years later the motor died.

Early 70's. We had a similar model, gold and black panel front and no pilot light below the timer.

Going to pick it up tomorrow

whooo two appliances in two days...The Bendix today 400mile round trip and this GE tomorrow 250 mile roundtrip. But yay for collecting, i think im OCD for washers. By the way, i got this for 25 dollars, is that good??

Although I'm passionate about Vintage GE's, there is nothing special about this dryer except its age. As advertised, it's a commercial model that's BOL with a pilot light. I'd pass on it unless: a. you really need a dryer right now, b. it's priced low.
