Very nice collection, some rather rare things too

Tell us about the blue Downy bottle on the counter behind the GE Activator... that looks interesting, was it a special promo?

Gansky:reply

Yes, I believe it was a promotional campaign, during 1968 or 69.

I really love the creative way you've arranged and displayed everything!

I've seen a lot of those "drop-in" GE Stoves (in apartments all over Florida) , but that is the first installation I've ever seen with the controls mounted on the wall above it. Very kool.

Great looking collection!

Terrific Collection!

You've got some really fun stuff!! That turquoise GE range is adorable!

How long have you been collecting?

YAY!

Awesome collection! Did anyone else notice the Nutone fan in the first pic?

Love the vintage Tide. That's the REAL THING.

Wonderful display, it's fun to see all those forgotten products and items. The A&W clock, a can of Zud (one of my favorite powdered cleansers now in a yellow can) a tin of Singer sewing machine oil. I see you have a Bosch mixer, do you use it? I think they're the greatest thing since and for making sliced bread LOL

I have been collecting for the past four years. It started with a Speed Queen measuring glass. I am amazed at how many machines have been discovered by everyone.

Thank you. I started four years ago. I am amazed at what has been found. I wrote a reply to you and retromom to thank you both and to apologize. Thank you again.

Nice collection, thank you for sharing the pictures. What kind of appliance is there to the left of the Bosch dishwasher? I love the General Electric stove and the percolator that is on it!

Very, very nice collection.

That GE stuff is to-die-for. I'll give you some big bucks for that activator + filter pan, if you ever want part with it. And the 1958 dryer head. Ahhh!

Hey, is that a Hotpoint filter in turquiose on the wall? If so, I need that--I have the washer it fits on. Seriously, do you want to trade for SQ items? Among the parts I have are a couple of control heads, including a rare Canadian SQ upholstered one.

Wow!

Hey I mispoke...

That's a 1957 GE "p" series control head.
