I just discoverd this.... you can download a couple 1/18 washer and dryer manuals from firigdaire.. Type in WC- for the washers and DEC (or DGC for gas) for the Dryers.....I am trying to find more numbers to try.. They seem to have some Westinghouse (not white westing house either) manuals as well

Those are manuals of the later White Westinghouse machines. Not the GM Frigidaire 1-18 models.

If you click on the WC6 they do have the GM manuals.

Ok, I was able to download all 7 manuals. The quality is poor (why does that not surprise me from W-W?) but the "WC-6" was a thumper, wasn't it?
The others seem to be the usual W-W agitators...
Anyway, if anyone needs one and can't get them, just drop me a line - I'll be happy to beam 'em in all their grainy b/w glory over.

You are right. I started at the bottom and after a few I only saw White Westinghouse models. Great to see some GM Frigidaire manuals.

That's what the college students called them in the dorms where I worked cleaning and fixing things back in the 70's.
Gosh, back then a kid could work his way through college - if he had a decent scholarship and both his parents took out a second mortgage on the house.
Nope, ain't gonna go there.
The kids' moms had always done their washing for them - so their first encounter with reality were much abused rollermatics.
Saying they suffered from cone hop is putting it mildly. Can you say pile-driver? Sure you can!
But a lot of those guys were just as fascinated by the pulsator as I was - and am. Must be a guy thing.
