these are the lights at the Auburn,Cord,Duesnburg museum in Auburn Indiana,they shure resemble a agitator in a old washing machine!!!very nice design

ever since I`v seen the westy slant front washers on here I think of them when I see these!!,the ice machine company must of like the looks of the westy slant fronts LOL

I am so glad that someone else other then myself think the 7-11 ice boxes look like slant front Westinghouse washers design.

I don't know Peter, far be it for me to edit advise, but it seem sthat if something resembles the design of something classic washer machine like, seems fair game to post to uphold and celebrate the great design of the classic that was obviously copied, or a design thread theme of the time that relates to the classic washer mentioned. The lamp is a stretch, but as I hear it, agitators is general will be classic things with the demise of the top loader in the not too distand future. Phil

I never thought of the ice box's looking like slant fronts.. The again we have very few of them around here (we have much uglier things)
