Even though I liked my Hotpoint Wm64,which I had in Natural Linen, My favorite washer was this one, the Hoover A8580 with the exact colour too. But in 1994 the drier dial broke because mum turned it too fast.

Classic hoovers are my favourite! This is a really nice model. my friend had an electron 1100 deluxe that looked identical with a black facia and the dryer dial was a delay timer. lovely model.

I have a hoover logic 1300 and i love it as much as the first time i saw one. You can't beat it.

my hoover

Everytime the water is just about to drain completely I turn the dial so that a canals worth of water comes down the window. As soon as I get my own house I'm gonna convert my garage into a washer room. Maybe I'll get an ipso.

Kelkoo

It's always worth comparing on Kelkoo.

That's my 1990 catalogue. I'm on the look out for a Hoover square, although I prefer the older style drum with fewer holes for some bizarre reason.

Here is a link for Kelkoo and Miele prices

Fascinating photographs and so many memories, not least the toy washer, which was exactly the same as the one I had. I used to wash linen hankies in mine whilst Mum did the laundry. That old Bendix is about the same era as my Mum's first Bendix which was BOL with one dial, and one red light, nothing more and she loved that machine more than any of the others she has ever had because of it's simplicity.

The Hoovers are definitely my UK favorite.
