Open letter to the Auction Lady: - I know you are only asking $50 for your baby-poo colored dryer, but it would have been better if we could actualy see the dryer, and not the piles of laundry supplies stacked over it.

"I just used a picture that I took while we were remodeling because the dryer was outside and you can see it."
Would that mean that when it's inside it is totally buried in an area with no lighting? Poor Dryer: to give such good service to your second owner (and something in the description makes me think it was used heavily)then get talked about like this and photographed without even a glimpse of the control panel. I would also want a picture of the drum to see if it is worn down to the bare metal. "Works Fabulous" is just the cherry on top of the whipped cream.

Greg, given the position of his left arm, I hope not. If he was, I hope there is medical documentation and I take back the bad things I wrote about the wife. She obviously has had her brain and everything below it knocked loose. Maybe, since the dryer was out of service, he was just hanging there drying.

That's hilarious. If you're going to bother taking a picture, you'd think they'd at least clear the crap off the top. Some people!

Or, he was multi-tasking and reaching for his beer - encased in a foam rubber koozie that says "Old Truckers Never Die, They Just Get a New Peterbuilt."

Clutter becomes her!!

I took a look at the other listing that she has. Take a look at the clutter, and the UH, item for sale. Stangely enough, it is not a Washing Machine. One would think that it would be, given the fact that she recieved a new set for Santa Day.Me thinks it was lost in the back of the closet someplace:)

The Downside of Casual Clutter

I liked this line from the fish tank auction:

"The stand is nothing special, just a very basic thing my husband put together, but it held the tank for several years - the foundation of the house gave out, but the stand remained solid."

The foundation of the house gave out? Whatever could have caused THAT? Heh.

I don't think that the house is under reconstruction, I think that the house is in a mass meltdown of clutter! Can you imagine what it even smells like inside there?

If your porch falls off your house and kills more than 3 dogs, you probably are white trash.

I think that this lady is from the South. In the clause "the foundation of the house gave out," the way she uses "gave out" clinches it. The washer is probably not for sale for one of two reasons: either the washer is "tore up" which is why hubby went and bought her the new washer and dryer or the washer was given to a less fortunate relative when she received the new one.
