Yes, according to modern standards that is quite a rough wool cycle. But I remember many machines that had such cycles for wool. I don't think they were certified for woolens. Steve, This machine tumbles probably with a 50rpm speed. Modern European frontloaders have special wool cycles with short tumbles and long pauses and a 25rpm speed especially for woolens. Louis |

here is the wool wash in my hotpoint - it turns at distribute speed for the whole cycle - and does not stop at all. i believe the thinking behind it is that the centrifugal force holds the clothes against the drum, preventing stretching etc... it is certified by the woolmark people..

ps mine is also certified by the woolmark people, the logo is on the dispenser drawer. |
