Fantastic!

I had the very same model of machine from 96-98, which I had as a cast off. Absolutely fantastic. Especially with the quirky little beeps at the end of the cycle.

Am I right in thinking this machine doesn't go into normal distribution speed as it pumps away the wash water but instead does slow tumbles yet does the classic hoover drain and distribute as it drains rinse water?

The Mixed Wash on this model is quite novel as well as it's semi automatic...I'll leave that one there!

Regards

Saj

Well currently i'm workin for my dads building company as a labourer until i find a new job after things with Comet went completely downhill and sour.

Today...was like the usual days...up at 5.45am, On the road at 6.15, an hour and a half's drive....arrive at site. Grab a coffee...have a trott about...Get on with some work...

Today....was different. Today, there was this lil gem layed on her back covered in mess...a Hotpoint WM31 1200 deluxe! Wow!

So my bro bein as supportive as he is and a leanent boss agreed that i could dig it out, check it out and take it home. to which i have done!

I've cleaned it up took the lid off inspected it and all seems well. It was caked in dirt and stuff and inside the drum and seal was full of sludgy detergent. I fitted a new plug as i had to cut the wire off as it was burried about 3ft under loads of wood n stuff.

So decided to run it. Heres where i really need your help guys....

It grumbled abit..clicked and clunked and began the spin tumble into a distribution however, it was really lathargic....and then it cut out! Any ideas?

Below from first to last are the pics of how i found it, dug it out and inspected it

enjooooy

Darren

Seamus, it's beautiful!

and all lit up like a Christmas tree! I bet it'll last longer than the Servis that came with our flat and already goes bangbangbang on spin - we suspect the lower wieght has come loose...

Hi. Nice machine you got there. I wonder; can you take videos of it and load it on youtube? That would be fun
