and at least they had the sense to paint it white and not mess up the control panel. I will admit it is a shame the pump and motor are gone but who knows someone in this group would probably be able to find one...after all we do have quite a few resourceful folks in Applianceville. PAT COFFEY

You're right, Pat, they could have done a lot worse. A good price for a nice classic, a motor and pump shouldn't be all that difficult to come by and with a tattoo removal, it could be a nice washer again. I wonder if it has the red & black bakelite agitator?

as is

I like it just as is - Unique and one of a kind - Only one exactly like it on the planet.

I'm not sure those machines are practical to use in the modern day, regardless. Spin speeds of less than 600rpm are not effective in removing enough of the crud and result in skin sensitivity issues, as well as odiferous clothing under some conditions. I've found this to be true through personal experience, much to my own dis-belief as well - there IS a difference.

Very cute paint job. If it were closer, I'd go for it myself. I think my nearly 80 year old Mom would think it was amusing too.

Kitschy but Kute!!

At least they didn't take the whole think to the krusher! For $9.99, this would be fun in a laundry studio, and could be used to store "play laundry"! I agree, Bob...really cute paint job!

I'm afraid....

I'd put it in the bedroom and use it as a clothes hamper! Then again, my other half is having a hard time finding the "real" washing machine in the house so I'm sure his dirty clothes wouldn't find their way in there either! ;-)
