Very nice washer--very effective action in the video clips-Parsons electric-Northampton,Mass was where my Grandmother lived-remember going to her house each summer many years ago.she had a KN washer with the pregnant black Roto-Swirl.loved wathing it.Now if I could find a Blackstone around here-That looks like a really good washer.

One thing I forgot to ask...

How does this machine spin? Is it a reversing motor or does it shift directly into spin via solenoid?

What A Beauty!

peteski50's profile picture
This was the exact model washer I remember years ago from the Carmel Lumber store. I tried to view the videos but they stated it was not yet available to view. I never knew anyone that had a Blackstone washer so this one really interests me.
Thanks for the postings.
Peter

On this machine, the motor reverses to spin. All of the machines arrived in working condition. I have never seen transmissions like the ones in these machines. ALL VERY DIFFERENT!!! And all are built like tanks. Mark

I recognize you in this picture, Mark, but is that Gary, Steve or Robert on the floor?

Did you get the set of towels and the gyro-balance top with the machine?

Absolutely love this washer - the vids aren't working right now for me either, I can't wait to see it in action!

Gyrobalance Top!!

The guy in the Carmel Lumber did give me the Gyrobalance top for nothing. It was cool I don't remember what happened to it. I wish I got the washer with it.

WOW!

That is one neat washer. And very rare, too. Were these rebadged as Hoover in Australia?

What a cool machine!!! Mark, thanks for taking the time to share with photos and video....loved it. Does it spin drain? Or neutral like the older Blackstones? I thought I saw holes in the bottom of the tub.

Hi Mark

Wow, what a find, three fab machines all at once, love the different aspects of the machines as they progress through time...

Do they all have the same drain mechanism, i.e. the agi stays working whils the tub lowers & drains??

Happy washing, Mike
