Great site! I have a mid 50's Youngstown Sink and cabinet with a built-in Dishwasher.
The racks for the dishes have been lost.
Did another company make the dishwashers for Youngstown, and they just put them in their cabinets?
What would the best way to try and find the missing racks? Thanks!

Hello and welcome, Youngstown made all their own machines. These dishwashers are extremely rare now and the only way you will probably be able to find a replacement set of racks is going to be when another one pops up on eBay or locally.

Self-made machines

I thought I read on one of the threads in the past that D & M made at least some of the Youngstown dishwashers
