I,m interrested in an old washing machine that Bauknecht made. Here in Sweden the machine was sold by Wascator. I have called them for more info, but they have absolutely nothing about this machine. `

I,m thinking maybe Foraloysius has some info. It would be nice hearing about spin speed, weight, if any collector has one etc.

Even better would be video clips of such machine, but maybe no one has such machine.

Oh, and Foraloysius, if you read this, what has happened with the german washer forum? First there were only admin login and now "cannot be find". Has Kai removed the page?

The Bauknecht machine i,m interrested in is pictured below.

No more Bauknecht

It may be impossible to get any info. Whirlpool Corp. bought the Bauknecht factory some time ago; that's where the Whirlpool Duet HT's are made.

Fredrik,

I have no information about this particular Bauknecht machine. It looks like it's from the era of the real boil wash machines, but I don't know if this particular machine is such a one.

The "Waschmaschinenforum" is temporarily offline. It's supposed to come back in a different form. Some discussions heated up very badly, so Kai put an end to it.

BTW John, the name Bauknecht still exists and they still make washing machines for the European market, so it's not a production line for the American machines only. I added the link to the German Bauknecht website.
