Uh, More like 1970's there. I just looked in my Wards Fall and Winter 1978 catalog and it's listed in there in the very same colors...as: Model: Great Water Saver Wringer Washer Price: $259.95 Catalog: Wards Falland Winter Number: # 85C890R Shipping Weight: 145 lbs. "White porcelained washtub and wringer, harvest gold colored skirt. This machine listed in the catalog also had a chrome or stanless steel wringer drip board too (looks like a pouty lip that the water drains back in the tub from...whereas the one in the e-bay listing has a white porcelanized one? Who knows...but this is the same machine as I have listed here.. Chad |
