Here is a very nice and good looking German semi-automatic washer from RONDO - really a vintage!

What a beautiful machine, that's a classic one. I love H-axis twintubs. IIRC an aunt of mine had a Rondo, almost like this.

Beautiful! Voll Geil! How many kilos can it really do at one time? Does anyone know?
350€ scheint mir allerdings etwas teuer zu sein...
Almost 500$ seems a bit much, however...

It's capacity is probably 5kg. Here's a pic of an ad that comes from the "Waschmaschinen-forum".

Rondomat

(Translation can be sent - if s.o. is interested!)

I won't translate, it is too wonderful as it is.
Just don't let any Kultusminister see it...they will probably take it as the model for our next Orthografiereform.
Do you know how much power these machines drew? Back then, most folks had either 10 A (220V, Single phase) or 6A (here in München this was so until the late 1960's in many areas).
