This would be a good restoration project, nothihng seems to be wrong with it, just a bit of comestic touching up. I know a few UK members not far from rotherham *hint hint* :P

Wow, thats certainly a rare one, the cabinet, wash tub and spin can are 10yrs later than the top!!!! this must have been reconditioned or the top has been transplanted onto a much later machine..

The original MK3 model 42 machine would have the older style black agi and a shallow, wider, aluminium spin can, along with the S, logo on the front...

Mark (Hoover 3060) could you post your pic to show us what the original looks like!!!

Hi Paul

I had to look twice and kept thinking "whats wrong with this pic"!!!This was such a nice change of styling after the MK1 & MK2 workhorses....and of course the MK70 was even nicer with the "new two stage blue agi...
