Only half wrapped - poor planning not to have enough plastic wrap.

WOW! A matched set!

Looks great Rich! Now, how does she work?

There's nothing like a matched set. WCI-59 & DCI-59

Again, many thanks to Davy1063 for trading. I couldn't be happier to have another matched set. Dave is an expert on belt adjustments. This has to be the smoothest multimatic I've ever heard.

Hi Venus,

This machine runs like a top. Dave said he has done numerous loads of clothes in it without any problems. He had it all shined up and she is a beauty. Attached is a before photo. And you can see the shine in the after photos above.

Thanks,
Rich

And What Did Davy Get?????????

Davy got a 1967 Turquoise blue WCIL!!!!!!!

I ran two loads in it this evening and it's beautiful!! Pics to follow. Rich, it was great doing business with you and I gotta tell ya, I had a great time at dinner. After Rich and I made the swap, we went to Maliboos, a local restaurant located at the Reading Airport and had great food and conversation. Rich, whenever you are in my area we gotta go back. You gotta try that triple layer chocolate mousse!

Congratulations, what a wonderful addition! The 1959 Multimatic is one of my favourite machines. With the two speeds still fit for all today's laundry!

Wonderful machines Rich! Sets just "belong" Glad you were able to arrange to get these two togther.

Post# 197407 , Reply# 29   3/14/2007 at 11:05 (6,224 days old) by davy1063 (Pennsylvania)

Rickr,
that's exactly why I decided to trade with Rich. After he saw that i got the '59, he sent me a congratulatory email and stated that if I ever wanted to trade to let him know. He offered up the WCIL, and when I asked him why he would trade such a beautiful machine, he sent me the picture of the lonely DCI-59, as if it was looking for it's mate. I knew it was going to a great home and would be well taken care of, as will the WCIL, which actually is my dream machine. SO, IN A NUTSHELL...everyone is happy.

Congratulations Dave!

So it is an Imperial model. Love the chrome on the edges of that series! Classy looking machine. And in a great colour too! Have fun with that. <:
