Got this from a customer's summer home. I've mechanically restored to it's original glory. It has a new outer tub, timer, pump , belt, and dispenser valve. The bleach & f/s dispensers aren't functional because the replacement tub didn't have an opening for the dispenser hose...that's ok!!! It has the "quiet pak" construction (aka skinny belt and pulleys) and NO sound insulation. This is the quietest Kenmore I have ever heard! I ruined the original white Vari-Flex agitator so,for now, a super Roto-swirl will do!

Glam shot of console. Not as many lights as previous models, but handsome none the less!

Beautiful machine.

Can you post a pic of the opened dispenser to the right of the lid?

What a fun machine and in avocado green! I was at first puzzled when I saw Lady Kenmore then the agitator, but once I scrolled down, it was all better! LOL Too bad about the bleach/fs dispenser, but the detergent dispenser works and that of course is the fun one on these machines! Enjoy!

It is a beauty,

I have the sibling dryer in Avocado, it would be fun to see
them together!

The pinnacle of "garage-door" Kemores! I remember how quiet these machines were - nice work on the restore, I'll bet it just purrs.

John,

Great machine! What talent to be able to refurbish these machines. We'll have to convince you to give us New England collectors lessons on rebuilding these machines!!

Really nice looking 'Kenmo--------and IMO the Super Roto-Swirl is the perfect agitator for it!

AND in my favorite color.

Great job John!! I love that disappearing faux wood console; but why would anyone want to hide those gorgeous controls!! That is a fabulous machine, in one of my favourite vintage colours - the mighty AVOCADO!!

Congrats! Wish I could play with all of those buttons!! LOL

My mom's '75 Kenmore wasn't a LK model but had "quiet pak" with the skinny belt teamed up with a gold "penta-swirl" agitator. I'll take it a step further by saying it was the quietest top loading machine I've ever heard, particularly during agitation.

Nice machine there John !
