wrong forum I know, but it follows the ebay theme....

a very healthy looking new wave plus5 (model A2100).

Seems to be new wave, soft wave and classica sale season at the moment - there was a classica dryer up for sale until a couple of days ago.

Brown/Beige FL series

These were exclusive Electricity Board versions and were fitted with time delay facilities- thats what the knob next to the timer is on this one.

Hi Seamus

I didn't know that about the Zanussi's.

So the brown and beige machines were sold alongside the two tone grey FL's, it is just that they were electricity board specials.
Never knew that the leccy board got into bed with Zanussi, as well as with Philips, Hoover, Creda, Hotpoint....any others.

Apparently the State Electricity Board was a bit of a slut by all accounts - seems like loads of manufacturers had a ride!

My Casdon got dropped down the stairs by a cousin and smashed! It was never replaced by the Electron series, so I had to make do with my parents Hoover 3236H and Hotpoint 95452. I just about coped.

Going off at a tangent Seamus - any luck with finding a new home for the old English Electric yet?

Cheers
Paul

WHOA!!!

I used to have the Hoover Electron toy washing machine! I got it when i was about 4 or so... it was a great machine for washing a pair of socks... think my parents hoover washing machine broke down and got replaced by the dreadful Hotpoint 9934 washer drier...

Can't remember where i found the picture... probably on here lol

Hello Paul

Thanks for those. I check Ebay regularly. I actually was seriously going to buy the Electron and mailed the owner but they said that they wanted it to go locally as it might be faulty. Also quite expensive to courier.

I had that toy washer too! Used to carry it with me everywhere and eventually tripped and fell on it splitting my lip. I wonder what happened to it?

Rob

And another machine

no idea of the model, but may be of interest.

Also am 'toying' with the idea of a casdon electron - righting a wrong from my childhood.

and finally

I know this is in the wrong forum, but its along the 'it's on ebay at the moment' theme - bit of a smarty this time!

Late 80's early 90's 'Sensor Dryer 9346' - anyone got a white Microprofile in need of a partner?
