I just want to take a minute and thank all of you who have posted pics and advice on the conversion of a Dependable Care Maytag washer by changing from the Load Sensor agitator to the Power-Fin. I have ordered a new Power-Fin from a parts place and am eagerly awaiting its arrival Monday. I had a short Power-Fin from my original Maytag and installed it last Saturday. I couldn't beleve the difference, even though I could only use Large or lower water levels. I am anxious to see the full sized one in action, complete with lint filter and softener dispenser. The new one is supposed to be white, not turquoise, but that will just give it a look that matches the washer. Would have rather had the turquoise one, but you can't have everything...maybe I can find one at a used appliance store.

Again, Thanks to all!!!!!!!

power fin

The new Power-Fin arrived today. The one I ordered was supposed to be white, but much to my surprise, the new one is TURQUOISE!!!!! Makes the machine look even more like a classic...
Thanks again to all of you who offered ordering info and installation tips....

digital pics

.....I have the camera, and can take the pics, but am not sure how to post them here. Actually, the camera can take 60 seconds of video, complete with sound, and I have shot the video segement, but I am not sure I can send or link the video. I am completely open to advice from you more computer literate folks than me...
