Well i spent an hour or so at the laundromat this morning snapping pictures and shooting a bit of video. I took my sleeping bag to wash as it was not smelling to fresh after spending easter camping. I also took one load of colors to do.

There are two front loading machines as well as a lot of top loaders, i only wanted the front loaders tho. There is an 8kg Primus washer, quite old but still worked well. And a three year old Speed Queen front loader. This laundromat has been 'reopened' after being closed down for ages and boarded up, we never knew it was there. But new managment have taken it over, revamped the old machines, put some new ones in and its back in business.

I took a fair few vids of me loading and starting the front loaders and of them washing and spinning. Hopefully youtube will have finished processing them but in case they haven't, heres a few pics.

Heres the Primus on main wash, it does an automatic prewash.

The only video that is processed at the moment is the loading if the primus, stay tuned for the rest.

The primus machines I've seen are somewhere in whitby but with a handle on the door and they all do spins after prewash and I think they have spin breaks after each spin, did the primus there Matt did a spin break after it's first spin.

At this layundrette at far grange park there were two 25 Ipsos and a few 16 ipsos the first ipso 25 had butons and the status of the wash is shown like the primus but when it starts to spin this loud siren like woosh kicks in before it reaches it spin speed. There other 25 IPSO was completely conmputerised by flashing lights, the same for the ipso 16s.

The spin break only applies to the first ipso 25 with the primus program status display after the final spin as it is very old and kept breaking down but the second ipso 25 and the 16s never had spin breaks even after final spin they just slowed down in their own time. All ipso 25s maxed at 350 rpm while the ipsos did 550 rpm.

Thanks for all the pics and vids! And Primus was one of my favorite rock bands in the 80's, LOL.
