Does the end caps pull off or are they screwed on from the rear?
Model LXR6432JQ0

My job washer having a lid switch issue. The machine will wash but when it is time to drain/spin, the machine will pause unless something heavy is placed on the lid like a bag of sand or bottle laundry detergent.

There is a screw on the back of each endcap. Loosen with a phillips screwdriver. It helps to pull the washer away from the wall a bit. Hope this helps!

Yes it did John and I need to replace one screw that mounts the cabinet top to the cabinet body.
I was about to replace the coupling, but I think I will wait until it fails.

Thanks for your help!

Larry
