Your videos are wonderful

We call it a Pentaflex, but I've neveer seen one working. Love the way the clothes ride so close to the post, no vanes to get in the way. And how briskly they get sucked down. Mama Mia! The only thing as fast is the Philco.

The turning tub during the fill on the Hydro GE was a really nice surprise as was the way the small agitator in the Westy is more powerful than the big one; again no vanes getting in the way.

Wonder if anyone else has a working Penta.

You did a tone of work and it's greatly appreciated.

Ah! those Whirlpools--any badge, any country, any language--always fabulous and furious, and still in charge.

Actually, it is a Roto-Flex. There are six vanes on the base, so penta does not apply. :-)

The picture below taken from Austin's member photo album shows a Penta-Vane and Penta-Swirl.

Thanks for all the work on these, they were very fun to watch. All are impressive but I was most taken with the GE Hydro-Wave, it looks much more gentle than the blender-action of the previous models and I love the GE logo on the top of the agitator, they should all have that!

Videos

can you possibly upload these videos to Youtube? If you do, we can download them.

Or, does anyone know how to download these putfile videos? My keepvid.com won't download them.

Thanks so much!

View the page source. Find the file link. Copy/paste it to either: 1) your browser, if that method will trigger a download dialog (instead of playing the video), or 2) paste it into an email to yourself, then when you receive the message (or on the sent-folder copy) right-click the link and Save Target As or whatever is the appropriate option.

Note the video format (in this case -- I don't know if PutFile *always* uses it) is .flv, which requires a compatible player, such as this one.

Very Kool!

Does the Lavina-Westy have a "straight-vane" agitator?

Thanks for the great photos!

Hi all. Thanks for see.

Laundramatt - After to see the videos, maybe you can take it in “Temporary Internet Files”, but you need FLV player. Or download on the site www.javimoya.com..., like DADoES explain.

Gyrafoam – Here are the Westinghouse agitator.

Is it my imagination or is there a gelatenous glob coming out of the recirclation flume? Lighting playing tricks?

Great videos Rodrigo, especially that Lavinia Westinghouse. Very cool lint-bag setup it has, versus the traditional rear-mounted plastic lint filter we had over here.

I like that white Roto-Flex as well...we never had those over here either!

Rodrigo those videos are great thank you. My favorite has to be the Brastemp with the straight vane agitator! Such a beautiful washer. I have never seen a white roto-flex agitator before, I've only seem them in gold. Does anyone know if white rotor-flex agitators were produced here in the US?

I liked that westinghouse dual agitator washer. I have to say that "lint bag" is a little creepy though hehe. Very fun machine to watch though!

Hi Robert, tell me about the agitator #3 in this page. I have never seen the agitator in the machine.

Hi Rodrigo, that is the very first Direct Drive Whirlpool Agitator. I believe it's from 1981 or so.
