The wash action on single tubs and early twinnies seems a lot more vigourous than on a square cabinet twinnie. |

The pump is driven by a tyre from the motor, and the impeller runs all the time it empties. Keeping the lid on is vital! |

Wow, must stir up a good suds-cake while draining if that impeller keeps going----certainly splashy! Is the impeller on the side-wall or on the bottom? |

Great machine Si! In the states we had single tub washers, but I don't think an electric wringer was available. |

The impeller (pulsator disc) is at the rear-wall of the machine - like with mine, too. (Hoovermatic 3301L) They are definitely great machines and soooooooooooo fast! Ralf |
