Hi everybody! - I was just looking at the pics of that amazing set of Norges in Ohio and was thinking... Imagine what its like in the board room when they have meetings to come up with the next years designs for washers and dryers - or any major appliance for that matter. I know there would be much more planning and drafting - but think about the day when they have to show the big boss what the new features are and the new line look. It's an appliance fashion show! And Imagine what fun things and ideas ended up on the drawingroom floor! Too bad we didn't have a former emplyee of like GM on here - or GE...

So many things - I'd love to have been a fly on the wall as companies were coming up with things - but better yet - think about the fabulous corny names of things as all the companies competed with each other to say the same things differently. How many ways can you come up with to say lint filter? - hehehe - do I hear a party game? - Make up your own old appliance catch phrases and crazy cycle names. Ok so I'm crazy - but hey - I'm in great company here!
And so what if this is a wine induced posting....

Still I thought it'd be fun to discuss.....

It's about time you surfaced!!! Geez it's been nearly forever! And YES that would be a neat game. Maybe at the next wash-in we should try that and see who's design would sell the best in the club. The winner gets a filter-flo pan or something! LOL

was there EVER a washer called "Sudsmaster"? though my faves are the famously low-sudsing Maytags, i think it woulda been cool if they designed a wider-cabinet, larger capacity model, still using the "washpower" as a foundation, and called it "Sudsmaster".
