Ok, I picked up in as a trade-in about a year ago a Lady Kenmore Direct Drive washer. Must be one of the 1st DD's ever made. It worked fine so I never had to work on it before I sold it. I sold it to a friend that used the crap out of it daily for about a year till the water inlet solenoids began to allow water to come in for a minute or so and stop for a few minutes then began again and so on. He said that it took 4 hours to fill to large load level the last time he used it. So he traded it in on another used washer I had up for sale. So now I had the machine back again. I investigated the inside of the machine when I went to replace the solonoids and found that there was two water hoses connected to the solonoids and then there was this other solonoid looking thing connected by hoses that had several hoses hooked to it. I think that all of these hoses hook into the bleach and detertgent dispenser somehow. Anyone here familiar with this design?

By the way, I bypassed all of the other stuff and installed a regular solonoid and left the other mess dangling. It works fine.

Must have the triple dispenser beneath the lid at the front of the machine. Those actually were mid 80's machines, and a pretty good performer as well.

Yes, I checked to be sure because I have so many machines around here that I get them confused but yes it does have a triple dispenser thingie that looks to be a layered type plastic resevoir. Unlike any I've ever seen before. I have been at this for many moons but I guess this one slipped me by.
