I found this washer timer at an estate sale today. Don't know if it's good or not. However since vintage timers are rarer than hens' teeth - I bought it for a buck.
Can anyone identify it?

Not sure of the brand, but thats definately a dishwasher timer.

Had me fooled

I thought it was a washing-machine timer. My misteak. Couldn't figure out why it went back to a wash cycle after a rinse cycle. Now I know!
Thanks for the reply!

Looks like a D&M style dishwasher timer.

You would know..

I believe that D&M likely means a SEARs product. There was a Kenmore dishwasher at the sale but it was too new. Likely the other unit took a dump.
Thanks again for the answers - I'll file the timer away for future use.

Ya nailed it.

Yeah, there it is. Good call.
If anyone needs an (untested) timer for parts, let me know.

Whoa!!

Wow, that's spot-on!!

What is that? What's inside? Is it a Roto-Rack, or a regular spray-arm D&M, or...?

Very nice. Good score on grabbing that part, too, Paul!

That's about a 1968 or so Sears top-load d/w, I grew up with the front-load version. Turquoise racks, in the top-load the Roto-Rack is split and hangs off a center support. Stainless spray arm, black plastic spray tube. Doubt there was a rinse agent dispenser, a small flipper detergent dispenser with a lid (fill one side, twist and dump, fill other side, flip down the lid)

Wow!

Thank you for the interior pics--gorgeous. I notice that that wash arm has the same plastic shield under it that the one I found for my Magic Chef had...I wondered what it was for (aside from making installation a complete and unadulterated pain in the butt). Lovely, lovely, lovely!
