Love those pink racks in the dishwasher and the pink interior of the refrigerator. Looks to be in great shape.

Drool ...

Those look very well cared for.

That's my all time favorite appliance color.

I love the fact that the push buttons for the cooktop are on the wall.

I've always been fascinated by those wall mounted GE refrigerators.

I hope someone can save them.

Mike

Does anyone here have the roll out freezers?

Someone needs to bring those GE fridge/freezer sets back!

Imagine pared with dish drawer dishwashers, the slide in and out Frigidaire cooktop? You'd have the greatest kitchen in a very small space.

I'm all over this one guys! Have been talking to the seller (who's a 3rd party) about condition. I've been hunting for the dishwasher for some time, I just hope it's not scratched to h*#$. Looks like enamel damage to the wall oven controls. Should know more soon! : )

Nate, you need to pay more attention to your guests at wash-ins. There were queens, empresses and pricesses galore!

Te he he he.

Looks like I've got a little competition!

For those interested in the gory details, the DW is apparently a basket case (see updated pics). In fact the timer knob appears to be MIA after the appliances were moved out. BUT, I've seen what Robert managed on his '47 GE so anything is possible, right : )

Let's just see how this unfolds...

Now that's just a DAMN shame..

Was all that really necessary to take that machine out?

Post# 214579 , Reply# 20   6/6/2007 at 10:01 (6,140 days old) by frontaloadotmy (the cool gay realm)
Cory

Hope you get these. It looks like the timer dial is in the
tub (broken?) in two = appearing pieces. They must have been
boneheads when they removed the machine. I have a mobile maid of the same era that probably is beyond salvation; maybe the
dials are interchangeble, maybe even the whole timer!

They must have been.

chachp's profile picture
Why in heavens name would they even have to mess with the dial to remove the dishwasher?

I'd still go for it, given the rarity.

Well, someone really wanted this set! I'd be real curious to know what they're max bid was; had to be someone willing to do some driving too. I did contact the buyer to try to learn the fate of the DW. If I hear anything, I'll let you guys know.

Just goes to show, they're still out there-

If it is the fridge you want, posted a link to another set on Fleabay at the moment, at the Super forum.
