How does one remove the inner tub of an 80's GE Filter Flo?

If this is the model I think it is try this:

Look in the crack at the front top of the machine where the top rests on top of the front of the cabinet. Locate a tab on each side in that crack and push it in to unlatch the top. Raise the top, there is a hinge on the back of the top. Now lift out the agitator. Now push the little tab on the plastic cover at the base of the agitator cover and lift it off. There should be 3 bolts near the bottom of the agitator post remove these and the tub will lift out.

How do I remove the inner tub?

I call Jim, my tried-and-tested now-retired repairman and HE comes and removes the inner tub! If yours truly did the job, the machine would look like the brick barbecue after Lucy and Ethel tried to reconstruct it after having taken it apart to search for Lucy's lost wedding ring.
