Is this a Norge built machine?

I was wondering the same thing, Jason. It doesn't appear to be a Maytag-built Admiral. By the looks of it (and the softener dispenser) I'm guessing it's has slow/long stroke agitation.

The one thing that made me think it might not be Norge-built is there was no big CLANK when the brake was applied during spin; the tub didn't stop almost instantaneously, as the Norge washer I'm familiar with used to do. Maybe that characteristic is only true of Norge's of a particular vintage...

Hi everyone.

Before buying my Whirlpool Catalyst set I use to have a Magic Chef washer and dryer and the washer had the same agitator and the same fabric softener dispenser.

Thats it! I knew id seen it someplace.. An late 80's early 90's tragic chef witha big huge 20lb plastic tub.... My evil ex step mother had one and OMG was that thing huge inside.. But she hated it and she broke it within 3 weeks of the lanlord installing it.. Afterwards she got a Green Hotpoint and soon afterwards my dad left her for some women with a maytag... But thats another story
